Set against a perfect Dubai sky, surrounded by open lawns, creative setups, and the gentle rumble of engines, the Grand Picnic felt more like a gathering of kindred spirits than a typical car show. People of all ages, from all over the world, showed up not just to showcase their vehicles — but to share stories, memories, and a love for classic cars.

 

A Day to Remember

We brought two of our absolute favorites to the event:

🚘 A 1969 Jaguar E-Type — sleek, curvy, and elegant, with that unmistakable British charm.

🚘 A 1950 Chevrolet Fleetline Deluxe — lovingly customized and affectionately named “Tiffany”, with a soft baby blue finish and white leather interior that stole the show.

Seeing people gather around these two, pointing out details, taking photos, and even asking to hear the engine start — it reminded us why we do what we do. These aren’t just cars. They’re conversation starters, time machines, and rolling works of art.

 

More Than a Car Show — A Global Gathering

What made the day even more special was the diverse community that came together. Families with young kids, lifelong collectors, travelers from Europe, Japan, the U.S., and beyond — everyone mingled over cars from every era. You’d see a classic Porsche parked next to a lowrider, a vintage Mercedes beside a hot rod.

And through it all, there was this beautiful shared energy — one that said, "We're all here because we love cars. The kind with soul."

 

Tiffany & The Jag: Crowd Favorites

“Tiffany” — our 1950 Chevrolet Fleetline Deluxe, fully customized with a chop-top body, white leather interior, air suspension, and a brand new engine — turned heads all day. People couldn’t get enough of the soft blue color, elegant lines, and the craftsmanship that went into every detail.

Our 1969 Jaguar E-Type, with its long bonnet and growling engine, drew the kind of admiration only a true icon can. It brought out smiles, nods, and nostalgic stories from people who remembered seeing one as a child, or dreaming of owning one someday.

 

It’s Not Just About Cars — It’s About Connection

What we loved most about Grand Picnic 2024 was how personal it felt. People came up to us not just to ask about specs — but to share stories. Stories of cars their parents drove, of long road trips, of restoration dreams. Some came just to soak in the vibe. Others said it was their first time attending anything like it, and left feeling inspired to find a classic of their own.
